I am an independent advisor, consultant and researcher specialising in sustainable finance, integrated investment management and integrated accounting, as well as strategy and governance at private and public level. As strategic advisor and analyst I work with others in building bridges between finance and sustainability, connecting different communities of expertise world-wide.
Operating from Geneva and Cape Town, I do project work with businesses, finance and research institutions as well as governmental agencies. I partner with consulting organisations based in among others Zurich, Geneva, Berlin, Paris, Cape Town, Melbourne and Sao Paulo, complementing my international network of experts in the commercial and non-profit sectors.
Our service offer comprises Strategic Advisory, Research & Analysis, and Facilitation in the areas of:
Integrated Investment Management, moving beyond ESG and mainstream analysis to integrated analysis and engagement,
Integrated Accounting and Reporting, moving beyond “non-financial and financial” to integrated accounting and reporting systems, and
Executive Education, working with senior managers in the domains of sustainable finance and governance at business and public or multilateral level.
I have worked with recognised international experts and think tanks in producing research and analysis, standards development, guidance and thought leadership publications in each of the above areas, addressing topics pertinent to emerging, regional and developed markets. My expertise is best utilised at the interface between developed and new markets, in particular the dynamics of emerging markets.
I present at international conferences and work with recognised partners to facilitate strategic engagements, training and education including executive seminars involving senior managers. These focus on organisational and personal development needs related to finance, performance management, strategy, collective action and values-based leadership.
